Overview

This intensive 2-day hands-on course introduces dental assistants to the fundamentals of orthodontic laboratory work. Participants develop practical skills in the fabrication and adjustment of Essix and Hawley retainers, as well as the construction of fixed and removable orthodontic appliances including Quadhelix, space maintainers, palatal expanders, transpalatal arch, Nance appliance, lingual arch, Bionator and fixed bite planes.
